Faith Theological seminary convocation held

The 8th convocation of Faith Theological Seminary (FTS) was held with principal Faith Theological seminary Kohima, Rev. Dr. Visielie Angami as the speaker at its seminary chapel hall near NH-29 Jotsoma on Thursday, some 8 km away from the state capital.
In his speech, Revered Angami who is also the proprietor of the seminary expressed gratitude to the Almighty God for guiding him and his family for the last 8 years and said so far the seminary has produced 172 graduate students. Reverend said that people working in His field was ever increasing day by day as the situation demanded.
Angami challenged the graduating students to be faithful with Him and in service with the people in whichever field they were called for till their last breathe. He encouraged the students to pass the spiritual flame to others and proclaim Christ’s love. He reminded the students to stand strong in times of trials, discouragement, hatred and prosecution when they work in His field.
Principal advised the graduating students to live an exemplary life in their daily God’s ministry and also to nurture the new disciplines. He said everywhere people are in need of gospel message and they should fulfill God’s mission. He challenged them to fight a good battle and be a winner for Him.    Altogether 33 students graduated which included 13 students in M.Div, 14 students in B.Th., 1 in M. Min. and 5 in M.Div. (extn). The best thesis (M.Div.) award was bagged by Küveseto Khüsoh, academic best students (M.Div.) bagged by Asho Khing (M.Div.), most improved students award was bagged by Senuo Mere (M.Div.), best all-round students bagged by Kevigwelhou Kuotsu (M.Div.) and academic best student for B.Th. course was bagged Kuviete-o Ritse. Seminary principal gave away awards and degree certificates to the students.
The programme was led by Asola Jamir academic dean, invocation prayer said by Kholi Salew registrar, scripture reading by Kimboi Zomi Lecturer, speech on behalf of graduating students by Kevigwelhou Kuotsu, special songs were presented by Neivizonuo Pienyü and FTS choir and commissioning prayer was led by the principal.
