Farewell programme for outgoing 6th semester students was held by J N Aier College (JNAC) on March 23.
Principal Lima lauded the outgoing students for their contributions to the college and exhorted them to be optimistic and face the challenges ahead of them with courage. He also encouraged them to be inspirations to the people they come across in their life. Further, he expressed hope to see the students becoming someone and contributing for the welfare of the society.
Other highlights of the program included speech on behalf of lecturers and outgoing students by assistant professor department of English, Ralu Lohe and Alino. Special numbers were presented by Panghoi Phom and Temjensangla, Tokavi and Albert Jinger.
Outgoing students were felicitated by 2nd and 4th semester. The college management and faculty members presented mementos to them.
The college also took the students on the occasion of “world forestry day” to the Zoological Park Rangapahar Dimapur, led by assistant professor, Temsuakum.
