Farewell programme held for Kezhaleu Hesso, vice principal, DGC

DIMAPUR

A farewell program was held to honor the retiring vice principal, Kezhaleu Hesso, on July 31, at Dimapur Government College (DGC).
During the event, DGC, principal, Dr. T. Tiakaba Jamir expressed deep appreciation for Hesso’s invaluable service and dedication to the college over the years.
He thanked her for her remarkable role in shaping the academic and administrative functions of the institution.
In her farewell address, Hesso thanked everyone for organizing the event in her honor. She shared that her time at DGC had been both enriching and fulfilling, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to serve the college.
Dimapur Government College Teachers Association (DGCTA), president, Biswajit Sarkar, highlighted Hesso’s exceptional work and leadership, offering warm wishes for her retirement.
Dr. Meripeni Ngullie, on behalf of the Heads of Departments, recalled how Hesso, along with her colleagues, was instrumental in driving significant positive changes at DGC.
Speeches were also delivered by various dignitaries, including L. Ajungla Longkumer (UDA), who spoke on behalf of the ministerial staff, Runo Semp (GS) on behalf of the DGCSC, I. Suzzana Yaden (retired teacher from DGC), and Ashok Kumar (Sr. HA).
There was also a time of presentation from various departments and sections of the college. A special song was also sung by the male teachers of DGC.
Finally, a prayer for the retiring officer was pronounced by associate professor, department of History, Lily Rino.
