Farewell programme of CE PWD (National Highway)

The farewell programme of chief engineer, PWD (National Highway), Er I Tiameren Walling was held at conference hall, Nagaland PWD, here on Wednesday.
In a farewell message, deputy chief minister, TR Zeliang, who is also incharge of National Highway, thanked the retiring officer for his dedication and service rendered to the Department and the State Government.
T.R. said throughout his tenure as the Chief Engineer NPWD (NH), he had not only displayed exceptional technical expertise but also fostered a culture of collaboration and consultation which was the quality of a true leader. And that his guidance and mentorship had been an invaluable source of help to the department.


In a short message Walling thanked the department for organising the farewell programme.
Walling said he joined the service on February 17, 1989 as SDO (R&B) under Mokokchung division.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by addl chief engineer (CE), PWD (R&B), Er K Imnajunba.
Short speeches were delivered by CE (PEP)-Er PI Imna Ao, CE PWD (H)-Er Hozheto Shikhu, CE PWD (Mech)-Er Neingumeü Kire, EC NPWD-Er Pukroneizo Kera, senior advocate-CT Jamir and Er Kahuli Sema. Vote of thanks was proposed by SE PWD (NH)-Er Fineson Pojar.
