Separate farewell programmes were organised for outgoing Deputy Commissioner (DC) Dimapur, Kesonyu Yhome, DC Mon, W. Honje Konyak and DC Kiphire, Sedevikho Khro, at the conference hall of DC Dimapur, DC Mon and DC Kiphire respectively.
In Dimapur, administrative officers and staffs of DC’s office Dimapur, outpost officers, Dimapur District officers, Dobashis, Naga Council, NGOs, civil societies and well wishers bade farewell to Kesonyu Yhome, who has served the district for two years and 266 days at DCs office Dimapur.
According to DIPR report, speaking on the occasion, Kesonyu termed his stay at Dimapur as very challenging as well as exciting. Yhome felt that his stay in Dimapur has made his learning curves go higher professionally adding that one can get such kind of experience by getting posted as DC Dimapur.
Recollecting his experiences, Yhome said “challenges have brought us together” and emphasised on the need and importance of team spirit.
Thanking the HODs of every department, Yhome observed that Dimapur District has the finest officers, who have extended all support and cooperation during his tenure as DC Dimapur. He further expressed his thanks and appreciation to the DBs, civil societies, organisations, NGOs, his personal staffs, administrative officers and staffs of DCs office, and the public of Dimapur for their unflinching cooperation both in good and bad times.
While welcoming the new DC Dimapur, Sushil Kumar Patel, Kesonyu appealed to one and all to render all help and support to the incoming DC, as was extended to him.
The new DC Dimapur lauded the outgoing DC for handling various issues successfully though Dimapur being a sensitive district and said that Kesonyu was an inspiration to many.
MON: A farewell programme for outgoing DC Mon, W. Honje Konyak was held on Friday wherein the DC, in his farewell speech, called upon every officers and staff to be regular at work.
According to DIPR report, Konyak termed his two years and eight months period as DC as peaceful and successful and appreciated all the staffs, subordinates officials and the civil societies for cooperation and support in all the activities.
Honje added that, Mon being the most backward district in Nagaland, was far lacking behind in every spheres and appealed the employees and peoples of Mon to work harder and go for extra miles in order to progress in all round development.
Stating that sincerity and dedication to works was required in all works, he urged all the employees who are posted at Mon District to be sincere and work hard.
KIPHIRE: A farewell programme for the outgoing DC Kiphire, Sedevikho Khro was held on November 23 wherein, the outgoing DC expressed thanked the people for the respect and love shown to him during his stay.
According to DIPR report, Khro also thanked all administrative officers for their cooperation and support, and termed the team as the best working team. He also thanked the tribal Hoho and NGOs for extending their full cooperation and contributing mature views and opinions of maintaining law and order in the district.
Encouraging the administrative officers and staffs, he asked them to remain sincere, transparent and hardworking.
