A webinar on farmers’ awareness campaign on balance use of fertiliser was organised by Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Phek in collaboration with Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR)- National Research Centre (NRC) on Mithun on June 18.
A press release by Krishi Vigyan Kendra Phek informed that a brief introduction was presented by ICAR-NCSE on Mithun, Dr M.H Khan while SS and head in-charge and CTO-soil science, KVK Phek, Dr T Esther Longkumer gave a presentation on balance use of fertilizer for creating awareness among the farming community about the essential nutrients, soil health card scheme, soil testing, different organic and inorganic fertilizers, irrigation systems, crop residue management.
Scientists, technical official from ICAR-NRC on Mithun, officials from state agriculture department and NRCM, KVK staffs and farmers attended the virtual programme.
