Sub-Divisional Agriculture Office (SDAO) Mangkolemba conducted a training program under NFSM-(Pulses) on field pea and mustard cultivation on November 5 at Chungtiayimsen village.
A press release from the office of SDAO Mangkolemba stated that key note address was delivered by SDAO Mangkolemba, A. Temsu Aier. He briefed farmers on the purpose of the NFSM scheme and encouraged them to sustain themselves through hard work in farming. The farmers were told to minimize the use of chemical input and they were encouraged to practice organic farming. A ‘Field Pea’ field training and demonstration was done by AI, Chaso and on mustard by AFA, Talisunep. The program concluded with a free seed distribution to the participants.
