One day training on capacity building for FIGs on Mission Organic Value Chain Development for North East Region (MOVCDNER) was conducted at Tamlu village on July 19.
Delivering the keynote address, DAO Longleng, Kiyevi Sumi, encouraged the farmers to take up organic farming in a large scale as sustainable agriculture.
AI Bongkam Phom highlighted the guidelines of the scheme.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by council chairman, Tamlu village, Bhuhnem Phom. Arounf 100 farmers attended the programme.
