Central Institute of Horticulture (CIH) organized two days farmers’ training on production technology, post-harvest management and marketing of important horticulture crops on November 23 and 24 at Sanis town under Wokha district.
According to a press statement by CIH director, the training programme was organized with the objective to disseminate technical knowledge to enhance productivity of some important horticulture crop while minimizing post harvest losses at farm level and strategies for improved marketing. The training was provided by technical staffs of the institute along with officers from District Horticulture Office, Wokha, government of Nagaland.
Altogether, a total of 104 farmers from different villages under Sanis circle participated in the training programme.
