One day farmer’s training on capacity building on FIGs on Mission Organic Chain Development for North East Region (MOVCDNER) was conducted on July 19, at Tamlu village.
At the programme, keynote address was delivered by DAO, Longleng Kiyevi Sumi where he encouraged farmers to go for organic farming in large scale as sustainable agriculture.
Guidelines of the scheme was delivered by AI Bongkam Phom.
Altogether 100 farmers attended the training programme.
Earlier the programme was chaired by VCC Bhuhnem Phom.
Villagers expressed their gratitude to the department of agriculture for implementing the new scheme which was first of its kind in Tamlu village.
