Fazl Ali College (FAC) Mokokchung celebrated its 62nd foundation day cum awards presentation on September 8 at the college auditorium.
A press release by FAC stated that at the programme, vice principal, R. Arenla Aier highlighted the foundation of the college and recounted the struggles and effort of the college, its contributions in its mission by providing the principles of education.
Head of department sociology department and convenor award committee, Dr. Adangla briefly highlighted the initiative of former principal, Kuholi Chishi in setting up award of excellence for students scoring the highest SGPA in different subjects.
Various retired faculty sponsored awards and memorial award was given to students under various categories of memorial and awards sponsored by retired teaching faculties.
Assistant Professor (Zoology department), Imlinungla made special prayers for the awardee students and passed out students in general. The programme was attended by head of departments, college student executives and awardees, parents and non-teaching staffs.
