Following the directive of the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, Department of Food & Public Distribution, Food & Civil Supplies (F&CS) department has informed that all AAY & PHH beneficiaries availing food grains under the National Food Security Act, 2013, were required to submit their mobile numbers at their respective Fair Price Shops / District Offices for updating in the Ration Card Management System (RCMS) Portal.
Further, the department informed that beneficiaries who have not yet linked their Aadhaar to ration card or not completed their e-KYC status to do so at the earliest.
F&CS warned that failure to complete the process of linking mobile numbers, performing eKYC and linking Aadhaar numbers with their respective ration cards would result in deletion of ration card (s) and subsequent curtailment of their food grain entitlement from the Ration Cards. The department informed that deadline for completing all the exercises was March 31, 2025.
In this regard, F&CS said directives have been issued to all district offices and all Fair Price Shops to coordinate with beneficiaries to ensure timely completion of the process within the stipulated time. For further assistance, beneficiaries could contact their respective FPS or district offices.
