
Eight-day film making workshop on the theme “a festival of selected films of Mumbai International Film Festival (MIFF) for documentary, short and animations films” is currently underway at Don Bosco Campus, Dimapur.
Chairperson NSCW professor Temsula Ao inaugurated the workshop as chief guest. The workshop is being organized by Films Division Government of India (FDGI) in association with Nagaland Post and River Rock.
In her speech, Dr. Temsula expressed gratefulness to FDGI for organizing the workshop.
She said, “nothing could be successful without honesty and sincerity”, and encouraged the participants to work with honesty till the completion of the workshop. Resource persons for the workshop were Sumit Ghosh for editing, Manash Mathavan for camera and Namita Naiyak Chopra for sound system.
Earlier, the programme began with the team introduction by deputy director general in-charge (DDGI) Joseph Joshy.
It may be mentioned that FDGI had also conducted similar workshops at Mizoram and Silchar.
