Feast of St. Thomas the Apostle observed in Kidima

St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Kidima on July 3 observed feast of ‘St. Thomas the Apostle, the first missionary in India’ at church premises with director, Eden Gardens and Children’s Home, Rev. Fr. Raymond D’Souza SJ, as main celebrant.


In a press note, it informed that Fr. Raymond D’Douza SJ in his address gave a historical account of St. Thomas and his ministry in India. This was followed by Holy Mass and a special prayer. Members of different Parishes and Franciscan Sisters of Saint Mary of the Angels also joined in the sacred day celebration.
