FGN cautions on fake national workers

DIMAPUR:NNC/FGN has expressed dismay over reports in local dailies regarding the apprehension of three individuals—Senlo Khing, Kitoho H. Zhimomi and Tovito Kiba—whom it described as “pseudo national workers” assuming self attested ranks.
In a statement, NNC/FGN rali wali kilonser, Vepozo Chuzo, said the trio were nothing more than “racketeers” exploiting the present political crisis to run a lucrative enterprise by extracting illegal taxes under the pretext of Naga nationalism. It cautioned the public not to entertain such anti national elements and urged vigilance in distinguishing them from genuine national workers. The statement maintained that these individuals had “not contributed a single day’s sweat to the Naga cause” and were tarnishing the image of NNC/FGN by collecting illegal taxes in Kohima and Dimapur. It added that they lacked knowledge of Naga nationalism, the Yehzabo, or the political aspirations of the people.
Further, NNC/FGN condemned the growing moral and social decadence, including acts of “sexual depravity”, which it said were alien to Naga values and traditions. It called upon citizens to uphold the moral fabric of society and collectively preserve the dignity and honour of the nation.
