The Federal Government of Nagaland (FGN) Leacy Hoho of the Konyak region has declared “null and void” the new Konyak region’s midan peyu approval.
In a rejoinder to the brief news item published February 26, Federal Government of Nagaland Konyak region, leacy speaker, Chingkai Konyak said NNC/FGN is a people’s mandate government which functions under democratic principles and systems.
It added that the Konyak region has been functioning under the “able leadership of Eno. Ato Wangsa, as Regional Supervisor, authorized and appointed by the Kedahge, Federal Government of Nagaland on 7th April 2018 for a period of six (6) months and thereafter again extended to another six (6) months with effect from October 2018.”
It therefore concluded that Chinge Konyak being appointed midan peyu, was “totally baseless and unbecoming.”
The rejoinder sought to clarify for the Konyak general public to not “entertain Chinge Konyak, but to entertain Eno. Ato Wangsa who is still the Supervisor of the Konyak Region.”
