Field survey for extension of agri link road

Field visit-cum preliminary survey for connectivity of existing agri link roads at farmers’ field of Phesama village was undertaken by a team of officers from the department of agriculture on September 28. 
A release by the information and publicity wing of directorate of agriculture stated that the team was headed by director of agriculture Bendangyanger along with additional director (STAT) Aja, JDA Helie, JDA Ikuto Zhimomi, JDA Nosezole, agri Sr. Er Achakbou Newmai, technical staff, district agriculture officer Kohima Vizonyü Liezie and team along with village council chairman Vimedo Chüse and council members. 
It stated that the department took the survey in order find measures to minimize the hardship of the farmers carrying inputs and produce to the fields and back. 
The team also had an interaction with the village leaders and farmers about the present agricultural scenario of the village. It stated that the village council chairman Vimedo also expressed gratitude to the department for the concern shown towards the village and its welfare.
