DIMAPUR: Deputy Commissioner and Principal Census Officer, Dimapur, has informed that training of Field Trainers under Mon, Dimapur, Niuland, Chümoukedima and Peren districts for the first phase of Census of India 2027 will be conducted from May 27 to 29, 2026, at Circuit House, Dimapur.
All concerned officers and officials deputed for the training have been requested to attend the programme positively.
According to the session plan, the three-day training will cover topics including introduction and legal aspects of Census 2027, concepts and definitions, ground truthing of boundaries, preparation of layout maps, installation and use of the HLO mobile app, handling of census questions, data verification, do’s and don’ts of app use, and data security. Practical sessions will include role-play exercises, household approaches, and a field visit for sample layout map preparation and data collection.
