Election department has informed that the final publication of photo electoral rolls 2015 for 60 assembly constituencies in the state was done on January 5, 2015.
In a press release, chief election officer (CEO) Sentiyanger Imchen stated that total electorate stood at 11,74,470 with 5,92,968 males and 5,81,502 females.
Further, CEO stated that total number of new electors enrolled was 26,556 and total deletion including multiple entries was 26,749. The electorate as per final published photo electoral roll 2014 was 11,74,663, said CEO.
