The 15th Finance Commission led by chairman, Nand Kishore Singh, visited Tuophema Tourist Village on November 29.
According to DIPR, chief minister, Neiphiu Rio and a host of dignitaries accompanied the team. A public reception for the team was organized at Amphitheatre, Tuophema Bawe. During the cultural program, Tuophema Cultural Troupe, Rengma Cultural Troupe and Lazami Cultural Troupe presented folk songs and dances. VDB secretary Tuophema, Krutsolie Zumu welcomed the guests. The team also visited the Museum at Tourist Village, Tuophema Basa.
