A fire broke out at Mandir of 41 Assam Rifle, Kiphire on April 22, 2025, where the structure was severely damaged. No casualties were reported.Fire Station Kiphire, quoting eyewitnesses said that the cause of fire was reported to be due to electrical short circuit.
Two water tenders and manpower from Fire Station Kiphire managed to contain the fire, preventing it from spreading to adjacent areas.
