DIMAPUR, JUL 31 (NPN): A fire broke out at New Colony, Purana Bazaar on Friday, damaging a four room pucca house and property worth around Rs. 70 lakh.
According to Central Fire & Emergency Services, the incident was reported at around 11:30 a.m. Three fire tenders were immediately deployed to the site and brought the blaze under control. The affected structure was a brick built house with metal roofing, comprising four rooms. Officials estimated the damage at approximately Rs. 70 lakh. Preliminary investigation suggested that the fire was triggered by a short circuit. No casualties were reported.
