Fire evacuation drills in Mkg, Kma

Mokokchung fire station conducted fire evacuation drill at Government Higher Secondary School, Dilong, Mokokchung on Monday.
Apart from imparting training on emergency rescue fire personnel led by Sub-inspector, Sevi Kera also held a demonstration on fire extinguishers for the students.
Various types of fire extinguishers, operation and handling of fire extinguishers (first aid fire fighting equipments) were also demonstrated to the students. 
Sevi also briefed the students on the basic knowledge of fire, its triangle, classification and importance of using fire extinguisher. He also encouraged students to install fire extinguisher in their home to avert major fire. The price of fire extinguisher cost only few thousands, however it could save a property worth lakhs and crores of rupees including precious life, Sevi stated.
Further Sevi also encourages the use of authorized electric appliances to avoid fire incident.  
Kohima: Fire and emergency services Kohima also imparted mock drill on fire safety and use of fire extinguisher for the students of Trinity School, New Reserve, Phesama on February 24.
Mock drill on fire safety, evacuation, rescue drill and the use of fire extinguishers were demonstrated to the students and teachers in the school premises. 
Meanwhile, teaching faculty and students expressed gratefulness to the personnel of fire and emergency for carrying out the programme in the school.
