Deputy Commissioner of Kohima has issued a circular informing the public that the 13 Assam Rifles will conduct a small arms firing exercise at the Firing Range, Kohima Garrison, from July 1 to July 31, 2025. To ensure public safety, the DC has advised all villages, ward authorities, and Panchayats under Kohima Town to avoid entering the Firing Range area or taking cattle for grazing nearby during this period. The notification aims to prevent any risks and ensure the safety of the general public.
