M/S T&P Enterprise has dismissed as “not true and misleading” the Western Satoi Range Public Union (WSRPU) allegation of looting rice meant for ten villages of Satoi block under Satakha sub-division, Zunheboto district.
In a statement, the M/S T&P Enterprise while denying all charges levelled against it by the Union clarified all that the Enterprise was never involved in the matter of transportation of goods to Zunheboto district.
Also, clarifying that it did not look after or deal with the matter of transportation, the enterprise has, therefore, asserted that the allegation of receiving the amount of Rs. 10,82,400 for transporting rice to the district was totally false. It asked the union to seek clarification through proper channels before making allegation in the media.
The firms stated that the transportation of goods was sublet to the ‘Cellar Trade Agency’, which it claimed was the agency solely looking after the matter of transportation. Stating that levelling such allegations without ascertaining the facts amounted to defaming the enterprise, the firm asked the union to avoid it in the future.
