International Youth Fellowship hosted its first mind education specialist training from January 7 to 9 at Niathu resort Dimapur with superintendent of Lincoln Schools in South Korea and international mind education specialist, professor Hong Ryoul Kim as resource persons.
Professor Hong Ryoul Kim in his lecture emphasized on the importance of having the right mind in today’s world. He said in life the most important things are invisible and it was the invisible that support the visible. In other words, he said “one can say if success is the fruit, mind is the root.”
In order to change one’s life and future, Kim said one should change one’s mind adding that it is the changed mind that brings changed thoughts and a changed thought brings a changed world.
He further stated that having a proper mind does not only lead people to success but leads people to experience true happiness, adding that an unhealthy and improper mind creates sadness and misery in the life of the people.
After every session of mind education, the participants comprising of leaders from different organizations was divided into groups and presentations were given after they shared and reviewed during the group discussions.
All the participants were able to design and draw the beautiful future of Nagaland into their minds through the mind education. The participants were also regaled by the Thai culture and songs from the band, Esperanza.
