Gorkha community is gearing up for a spectacular cultural extravaganza as Hamri Chinhari Nagaland Prant (HCNP) announces the first North East Gorkha Cultural Festival, coinciding with the much-anticipated Mr. and Miss Gorkha Nagaland Season 2, scheduled to take place on December 10 at Singrijan, Chümoukedima.
President HCNP, Shiva Kumar BK, shared this at a press conference held at Hotel Jal Mahal, Dimapur, on Sunday.
He revealed that Gorkhas hailing from various corners of the North East, including Darjeeling and Nepal, were expected to grace the event, promising to be a unique and innovative celebration of Gorkha culture.
Kumar further extended invitation to all Gorkha associations and individuals within the state to join this cultural spectacle. It was also informed that the festival would also feature the grand finale of Mr. and Miss Gorkha Season 2, a co-venture by HCNP and B Bros.
The organizing committee conveyed that only Gorkha residents of Nagaland, aged 16 to 29 would be eligible to participate in the pageantry competition. It also informed that auditions for the Mr. and Miss Gorkha Season 2 was scheduled to commence on November 18.
The committee urged all eligible candidates to seize the opportunity, emphasizing that such events serve as platforms for personal growth and help conquer challenges and fears.
