Fish kiosk inaugurated at Jalukie

A fish kiosk, funded by NABARD RIDF XX during 2015-16, was inaugurated by director of fisheries, Zenohol Angami at Jalukie on January 29. 
In his keynote address, the director of fisheries emphasised on construction of such kiosks in all the districts under negotiated loan from NABARD RIDF XX. 
According to a DIPR report, the fisheries department has been implementing various CSS packages generalizing to single marginal fish farmer whose ponds/tanks were subsidized by the department. 
Director stated that the aims and objectives of the department was to produce hygienic fish kiosk and congenial environment to prevent severe spoiling of the fish, to provide good quality for human consumption, to prevent mishandling of fishes and to prevent bad packaging that spoil fishes. 
Also, delivering speech, additional secretary Mhabemo Yanthan said without the support and co-operation by all, changes and progress will never come. 
He stated that devotion and dedication was required by all and said government property should be taken care. 
Yanthan stressed on preservation and conservation of environment, saying natural resources connected with rivers should protected. 
SDO (civil) Jalukie, Rhoiestho Nguori, in his speech, appreciated and congratulated SDFO Jalukie, Dory Yanthan and the department for infrastructure development at Jalukie town.  The programme was chaired by SDFO Jalukie, Dory Yanthan.
