The Task Force for Music & Arts (TaFMA) on April 8 held a special send-off ceremony for five singers chosen to join partner resorts in Uttarakhand under the Espire Hospitality Group.
TaFMA chairman Theja Meru said the initiative marks an important step in expanding professional avenues for Naga artists outside the state, offering them a platform to showcase their talent at the national level while gaining vital industry exposure.
The selected singers will represent Nagaland’s rich musical and cultural heritage through curated live performances aimed at enhancing guest experiences at the partner resorts.
The five artists selected for the programme are: Aloino Shohe (Kohima), Nikiho Kahoto (Dimapur), Mhao Yanthan (Wokha), Kojungli Jingrii (Tuensang) and Levietsholo Koza (Phek).
The collaboration reflects TaFMA’s ongoing commitment to nurturing local talent and creating sustainable career pathways for artists both within and beyond the state.
