Ahead of the 9th Anniversary of signing the Framework Agreement (FA), the NSCN (I-M) has maintained that the FA was a testament of the government of India (GoI) recognising Nagalim as a sovereign state.
NSCN (I-M) through its MIP asserted that the Nagalim national flag and constitution were, therefore, integral part of FA and duly recognized and acknowledged in the letter and spirit of FA.
The Framework Agreement was signed on August 3, 2015 in the presence of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
NSCN (I-M) asserted that the Nagas should treasure and hold on the FA unsparingly “lest we miss the sure promise of God.” NSCN (I-M) also affirmed that Nagas shall march forward “holding on Nagalim national flag and constitution to the last man standing, come what may.”
