FLC held at Salulamang village

One-day Financial Literacy Camp (FLC) supported under FIF managed by NABARD was conducted at Salulamang Village on January 9, organized by Care and Support Society, Mokokchung in collaboration with Nagaland State Cooperative Bank (NSCB), Mokokchung sponsored by NABARD, to promote the cause of financial literacy/inclusion.
At the programme, DDM, NABARD, S. Amarjit Mangang, shared the importance of financial inclusion. He highlighted on Farmers Club, SHG/JLG, WCC & KCC Programme, PMMY and Stand Up India Scheme.  Amarjit also shared about demonetization and cashless economy and advised the villagers to avail Rupay card from banks and start digital payments.
Assistant branch manager, NSCB Mokokchung Temsulepden, spoke on the importance of banking, savings, financial planning. He shared about various financial services offered by the banks for the general public. 
Earlier the programme was chaired by managing director, Care and Support Society Imchawati Kichu and welcome address was addressed by Salulamang Village Council, chairman A. Yanglu.
