DIMAPUR, MAY 12 (NPN): Floyd Hyundai on Monday launched the facelifted versions of the Hyundai Exter and Hyundai Verna at its showroom in Dimapur , introducing refreshed styling, upgraded interiors, and enhanced technology. The launching program was attended by SBI Hornbill Premium Branch, Dimapur, branch manager, Purwati Longkumer garcing the event as the guest of honour and unveiled the cars.
Speaking at the programme, Longkumer highlighted the bank’s continued association with Hyundai. He announced that the bank had introduced a few finance schemes for Hyundai customers from May 1 to October 31, offering 100% on-road financing, which includes the ex-showroom price, insurance and registration charges.
He informed that the scheme covered three models, the Hyundai Exter, the facelift Hyundai Verna and the Hyundai Creta. He also congratulated Hyundai Motor India and Floyd Hyundai, Dimapur on the launch of the new updated models.
The facelifted Hyundai Exter comes with several cosmetic and feature upgrades, including a redesigned front grille, revised bumpers with silver skid plates and new 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels on higher variants. The updated model also gets new colour options such as Titanium Black Matte and Golden Bronze, while the rear features a wing-type spoiler along with the signature H-shaped LED DRLs.
Inside, the Exter features a 3D carbon-pattern dashboard, a new dual-tone interior theme and a flat-bottom steering wheel. It is equipped with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, along with more than 60 connected car features. Other features include a sunroof, wireless charging, cruise control and rear USB Type-C charging ports.
The Exter is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine paired with manual and AMT options. The model also introduces a dual-cylinder CNG system that optimises boot space. In terms of safety, it comes with six airbags, electronic stability control, hill-start assist, and a factory-fitted dual-camera dashcam.
The facelifted Hyundai Verna has been introduced with a bold new design language and several segment-leading features. It features a distinctive horizon LED light bar, a black chrome radiator grille, and new colour options such as Classy Blue and Titan Grey Matte.
The sedan’s interior has been upgraded with dual 10.25-inch digital displays for the infotainment system and integrated digital cluster. Additional features include a 360-degree surround view camera, blind spot view monitor and built-in dashcam.
Comfort features include powered front seats, an eight-way adjustable driver seat with memory function, a passenger seat with “boss mode” and rear window sunshades. The Verna also gets a switchable infotainment and climate control panel, with transmission options comprising manual, IVT and dual-clutch automatic units.
The starting price of facelifted Hyundai Exteris Rs. 5.79 lakh – Rs. 9.56 lakh, while the facelifted Hyundai Verna starts at Rs. 10.98 lakh – Rs. 18.40 lakh.
