Forum for Naga Reconciliation (FNR) organized a public interaction at Elim Hall, DABA on April 25. This interaction was the first of more activities planned for the coming days dubbed “Walking the Naga Day.”
The open public interaction was held under the theme “Reasoning Together” and welcomed public inputs to strengthen the Naga reconciliation process
The event was moderated by James Khalong where FNR convenor, Rev. Dr. Wati Aier and members Dr. Aküm Longchari and Niketu Iralu, gave introductory notes before the moderator opened the interaction session to the members of the public who were in attendance.
Longchari asked if Nagas could have a shared future without forgiveness and pointed out that Nagas had become complacent.
Niketu Iralu spoke about there being a need to restore health to the Naga struggle.
The FNR members listened and responded to suggestions, inputs and comments of the people who actively participated in the interaction session.
