DIMAPUR: Forum for Naga Reconciliation-Research, Reflection and Dialogue (FNR-RRaD) has expressed concern over the incident that occurred on September 15, 2026, at Nagaland House, R.K. Puram, New Delhi.
According to FNR-RRaD, the Naga Scholars’ Association (NSA) had organised a public event at the Conference Hall of Nagaland House to screen the documentary film “A Sacred Place” by Prof. Dolly Kikon, followed by a dialogue with students and scholars. It alleged that following the event, staff of Nagaland House engaged in “unprovoked and unwarranted” acts of disrespect, prejudice, humiliation and intimidation towards Prof. Dolly Kikon, Prof. Sanjay Barbora and others present, describing the behaviour as a “complete abuse of power and authority.”
Standing in solidarity with the professors, FNR-RRaD extended support to the Naga Scholars’ Association as it pursues the matter with relevant authorities to ensure accountability and corrective measures. It stressed that every individual entering Nagaland House must be treated with respect and dignity.
