Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ Organisation (ENPO) has resolved to hold a mass public rally on February 9 in all District and ADC headquarters within Eastern Nagaland concerning the ‘Frontier Naga Territory’ (FNT).
This was among several resolutions adopted at the joint consultative meeting held on Monday with the tribal bodies and frontal organizations at CKS Hall, Tuensang. As per the resolution, the house decided to hold the rally to express resentment against the failure of Union Home minister Amit Shah’s assurance to handover the final draft of the Memorandum of Settlement (MoS) for FNT to ENPO. The house also ENPO to chart out the next course of action. After the rally, respective tribal bodies will submit a memorandum to the respective DCs and ADCs.
