In an attempt to control dengue outbreak in Dimapur town and adjoining areas, a fogging drive will be carried out from September 18 to 30, 2018.
In a press release, DC Dimapur, Sushil Kumar Patel, has informed colony chairmen, youth and the public to cooperate and guide the implementing agency in their areas. The fogging drive, being organised by ‘Agarwal Mahasabh’, will be conducted in the following areas: Golaghat road, Eros lane and Nagaland gate area on September 19; Kalibari road, Westyard and Marwari patty on September 20; Circular road, Khermahal, Clock Tower and NST colony on September 21; Duncan Basti and Nutun Basti area on September 22; MP Road, Murgi Patti, Nyamo Lorna road, New market, Hongkong Market and GS Road on September 23; Purana Bazaar to Chumukedima on September 24 and 25; D colony, Master colony, SP colony, Netaji colony, K. Kire colony and Nagarjan area on September 26 and 27; Signal Basti and Thahekhu village on September 28; Burma Camp area on September 29 and Forest colony, Midland, PWD colony and Nepali basti on September 30.
Meanwhile, the Mahasabha has informed that the launching programme will be held at DMC’s office on September 18 at 4 p.m.
