Fast fashion retailer giant, Forever 21 officially launched its first store at Nagaland’s commercial hub Dimapur on Wednesday. Located at Clock Tower area, the brand offers clothing and accessories for women, men and kids. The US-based brand was founded in 1984 and has over 550 stores in 27 countries across the globe. In the Northeast, it has opened outlets in five cities—Aizawl, Imphal, Itanagar, Guwahati and Dimapur. Boba Nandeibam is the proprietor for the stores in Dimapur and Imphal. Forever 21’s India business is run as a franchisee operation by Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail Ltd.
Forever 21, a trendy and affordable fashion brand, competes with international fashion labels such as H&M and Zara globally and in India. There are about 10 Forever 21 stores across India.
