Former ZUF (J) leader joins NSCN-K (Niki)

DIMAPUR: Niki-led NSCN (K) has welcomed David Gangmei alias Tigerson, former secretary of the Supervisory Committee of Zeliangrong United Front (ZUF J), into its fold.
According to MIP of the gorup, Gangmei, who was part of ZUF (J)’s team that held talks with the Government of India, expressed full confidence in the leadership of NSCN/GPRN and reaffirmed his commitment to work for the greater Naga cause by joining the mainstream political group.
He stated that after representing ZUF (J) in two rounds of talks-one informal in Imphal and one official in Delhi-he realised that his former organisation lacked vision for the Nagas as a whole.
He said joining NSCN/GPRN would better serve his desire and commitment to sovereignty and the Naga cause. Welcoming his decision, Niki-led NSCN (K) expressed hope that his journey of service for the Naga people would be meaningful and truthful.
