FoSTaC training for Dimapur Zone

The Food Safety Administration, Dimapur Zone in co-ordination with the FSSAI empanelled training partner, M/s Aroma Shiksha Evam Seva Samithi, Korba (Chhattisgarh) organized batch wise Food Safety Training & Certification (FoSTaC) programme for Food Business Operators (FBOs) under Dimapur Zone on April 10, 11, 21 and 22.


A press release by designated officer, Food Safety, Samuel Zehol, informed that resource person, FSSAI empanelled trainer, Dr. Anup Kumar Tiwari stressed on Good Hygienic Practices (GHP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) amongst other relevant food safety rules.


A total of eight batches of different categories of FBOs were trained, which included FBOs falling under basic catering and basic manufacturing category, FBOs dealing in food services such as Hotels, Restaurants, Food Stalls, etc, and FBOs dealing in packaged drinking water plants. FoSTaC Dimapur Zone covered districts of Dimapur, Chumoukedima, Nuiland and Peren.
