
Foundation was laid for community grave yard at Pfutseromi village by Pfutseromi Village Council (PVC) on December 21, with BDO, RD block Pfutsero, Vekhrolo Koza as the special guest.
A press release by the organisers stated that, Koza unveiled the monolith at the site and Mission International India president, Rev. Dr. Kenny Kapfo ministered and dedicated it. Vekhrolo Koza in his speech said that the village had given great importance to community assets and as such Pfutseromi village was one among the area who had come up with such development. He also said that rest was assured at the place which has been sanctified.
Rev. Dr. Kenny Kapfo cited Romans 14:8 that “if we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord, so whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.”
He also acknowledged the village council and leaders for bringing such a project for the welfare of the community and society.
Pfutseromi VDB secretary, Zekozo Mero gave a brief report of the site. Wepretso Mero, (Rtd), commissioner secretary & chairman, Quality Control Board, Nagaland delivered short speech.
Earlier, programme was led by Village Council Pfutseromi secretary, Kedounyi Medo and vote of thanks was by delivered by Pfutseromi Village Council chairman, M. Mero.
