Foundation stone laid for emergency wing at HRHC

Holy Redeemer Health Centre (HRHC), Chumukedima new emergency wing foundation was laid by Bishop of Kohima, Rev. Dr. James Thoppil on January 29 at the health centre premises. The health centre is run by the Sisters of Charity of Saint Bartholomea Capitano and Vicenza Gerosa (SCCG).
Bishop urged people to pray for doctors and nurses and all those whom God had called to share in the healing ministry of Jesus. Bishop thanked the SCCG sisters for their committed and dedicated services for the past many years at the centre.
He urged all to pray for the benefactors who are helping to build the new wing. Director of DAN social wing of the church, Fr. Charles would be in-charge of seeing to the completion of the building at the earliest. With the new wing the centre would have the facility to treat emergency cases, particularly the accident cases that occurs often along the National High way.
