
Four-day Sunday School Vocational Bible School (VBS) 2015 under the theme “God Cares” culminated here in South Point East Prayer Fellowship (SPEPF) Hall Zunheboto, Tuesday.
The topic for the four days VBS included “God Heals”, “God Save” and “God Change”; the colours of the four day event were Red and White which symbolized Jesus blood and Jesus saves respectively.
More than 400 students took part in the event. The children were divided in five different classes under—beginner, primary, junior, intermediate and senior classes with Kivintoli Yepthomi; Hinoli Yeptho and Nitholi Awomi; Kunali Y Zhimo, Beryl V Zhimo and Livi K Yepthomi as the resource persons.
The various activities and competition include “theme painting; theme craft making; games- outdoor and indoor; treasure hunt; quiz; Bible reading and songs competition” etc. which was held class wise.
The children were taught gospels through decorations which signified God’s care and authority over everything.
The valedictory day concluded with the showcasing of various activities learnt during the four eventful days and prize distribution. “Best discipline”, “most active student”, “Mr and Ms VBS 2015” and “best group leader” awards were given away.
Meanwhile, SPEPF has extended gratitude to all the children parents, convener SPEF, colony- deacons and deaconess, youths, volunteers and specially the SBCZ associate pastor children (APC) and home evangelist Kaliho Muru Swu for the success of the event.
