Fourth quarter review meeting on pre-natal diagnostic technique (PNDT) of Mokokchung district was held at the CMO office on March 21.
A press release by DMO Mokokchung, Rongsenkala stated that various guidelines on PNDT Act by government of India was highlighted by the deputy CMO, with special reference pertaining to registration and renewal of ultrasound machines in the district.
It also stated that Xerox copies of guidelines and forms for new registration were distributed to the machine operators.
The meeting was chaired by Dy CMO and district nodal officer PNDT, Mokokchung, Dr. Kibangkumba, while vote of thanks was delivered by CMO, Dr. S. S Akaba Longchar. Meeting was attended by private practitioners having machine facilities at Mokokchung district.
