Free cancer screening camp underway in Dimapur

A two-day free cancer screening camp organised by All India Marwari Yuva Manch – Dimapur Shikhar branch got underway here Sunday at Jain Bhawan, Jain Temple Road, Dimapur.
On day one, a total of 100 patients were screened and provided free consultations. The camp was also attended by deputy commissioner (DC) Dimapur, Sachin Jaiswal.
The organisers have informed that the screening/detection is being done in an ultra-modern mobile diagnostic bus fitted with latest equipment including “biopsy machine”. They said the mobile cancer detection unit has the latest diagnostic machines for diagnosis of all types of cancers.
