NITI Nagaland will be organising a Free Career Guidance Talk on February 1 at CTC Conference Hall, Ward-6, near local playground at 2 pm. Students from Class IX to Class XII, besides repeaters of NEET & JEE exams are invited with their parents & guardians, STEM teachers, public leaders, NGOs etc. to interact with the resource persons regarding STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) careers with a focus on computers, medical, engineering & cyber security.
Chairperson, Chumoukedima Town Council, Lhousito Khro, will be the chief guest on the occasion, while Youth Icons of Nagaland Er. Rishav Sethi and Pangerkumzuk Longkumer will be the resource persons. Both the resource persons participated in Young Dialogue Forum during Viksit Bharat hosted at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi recently by Union Ministry of Youth Resources & Sports where many dignitaries were present, besides having an interaction session with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
It may be noted that Software Engineer Rishav Sethi, CEO NITI Nagaland is the 5th generation Dimapurian and has been JEE topper of Nagaland in 2016. He also had the privilege to be the general secretary of 14,000 Engineers of Delhi Technological University Students Union. He has developed Hornbill App & Blood Donors Connect launched by CM Neiphiu Rio, and governor, La Ganesan respectively. Also, his NBSE Connect App was launched recently.
