Free medical camp at NHAK

After successfully conducting free medical camp last year through the initiative of Governor of Nagaland P.B. Acharya, the same team of Doctors from Mumbai headed by the Director Prof. (Dr) K.C. Mohanty along with the hosts of doctors arrived here at Kohima for a health camp which began today. The programme is being organized by Environmental Medical Association Mumbai and Indian National Fellowship Centre to promote interstate relationship as part of national integration and to serve the people of Nagaland. Dr. Mohanty informed that the team would conduct free surgery to the needy patients and also distribute free medicines to deserving patients. He further informed that there will be open house discussion on Tuesday with the local doctors, nurses and interested person on medical education at Naga Hospital. The Medical Specialists include Prof (Dr.) K.C. Mohanty-Chest Specialist; Dr. Varsha Phadke- Paediatrician; Dr. Satish Vaidya- Cardiologist; Dr. Agam Vora- Chest Physician; Dr. I.S. Gilada- Dermotologist; Dr. M. Sundrani- Chest Physician; Dr. Satil Bendre- General Physician and Prof (Dr.) Geeta M. Niyoni- Gynaecologist.
