
Border Roads Organization (Sewak/15TF/98 RCC) organized a free medical camp at Willang village on August 29, supported by National Health Mission to provide basic medical facilities for the remotely located village and also to create awareness about the importance of health and hygiene.
A team of nine doctors including paediatrician, gynaecologist, radiologist, eye specialist and dental surgeon attended the patients at the camp.
An array of investigations like hemoglobin, blood sugar, lipid profile, kidney and liver function test, X-ray, ultrasound and ECG were made available for the sick patients.
Sanitary napkins were also distributed to emphasize on healthy and hygienic habits. The camp was thus made full use of by local villagers and labourers in BRO. The villagers complemented and appreciated the efforts of the BRO and expressed their gratitude toCommander,15 BRTF, Col S P Yadava.
More than 600 people from different villages like Magaimai, Kavanam, Sangnkmai, Kamalong, Tampung etc availed the facilities of the free medical camp.
