Free skill development prog concludes in Dimapur

DIMAPUR: A free skill development training programme organized by Vision for Change concluded on May 18 after two weeks of batch-wise sessions held in Dimapur from May 4. Altogether, 80 trainees successfully completed the programme.
A press release stated that the free basic baking training programme was conducted for unemployed youth with the objective of promoting self-employment, livelihood opportunities, and skill enhancement. During the training period, participants received commercial baking practical and theoretical knowledge.
The organizers expressed gratitude to the trainers for their cooperation and encouragement towards the success of the programme.
They further appealed to government departments, public leaders, and donors to extend support towards skill development programmes for the welfare of unemployed youth and economically weaker sections of society.
