Fuel prices hiked

After a three-day hiatus, the state-owned oil marketing companies (OMCs) hiked prices petrol and diesel on Tuesday with rates of fuel climbing to fresh highs in the country. According to price notifications of state-owned OMCs, petrol and diesel prices were hiked by 35 paise per litre each. 

After Tuesday’s rate revision, petrol price in Dimapur rose to Rs.89.70 per litre while diesel price climbed to Rs.80.38 per litre. In the state capital Kohima, price of petrol increased to Rs. 90.63 per litre and diesel price surged to Rs.81.11 per litre. Fuel prices were last hiked by 30 paise on February 5, 2021.
