GBs, DBs plea to factions

Joint Forum of GBs & DBs Nagaland has reiterated its appeal to all groups of Naga national workers to stop killing civilians, restrain from issuing threats, bans and ex-communication and quit notices to individuals and organizations, in order to promote peaceful co-existence among all sections of Naga people.
The Joint Forum, which convened a joint meeting with Naga Hoho, ENPO, NBCC, NSF and other frontal organizations and tribal hoho presidents at Zonal Council hall, Kohima, Tuesday, in a press statement said various speakers in the meeting gave positive inputs pertaining to fratricidal killings amongst different factions.
The statement issued by Joint Forum chairman K.Vikuto Zhimomi, vice chairman T. Siyong Chang, convenor A. Taku Longkumer and secretary Lungrahei Harie, said with the support and coordination of the apex civil organizations and hohos, the Forum once again appealed to all concern to seriously take steps towards bringing end to bloodshed and usher in an era of peace in Naga homeland.
Regretting that despite repeated pleas, there had been random violation of ceasefire agreement earlier signed between different Naga national groups under the aegis of GBs and DBs, the Forum urged the national workers to honour the earlier agreement to uphold the faith and trust of the people.
